Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end transaction execution: Assist in the management and execution of M&A deals, with a specific focus on sell-side transactions, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring.
- Client relationship management: Work closely with senior team members to manage client interactions, develop bespoke solutions, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across various sectors.
- Market research & analysis: Perform in-depth sector research, identify potential acquisition targets, and assess market trends within the energy and climate tech sectors to support deal origination and strategic recommendations.
- Deal support: Collaborate with senior team members to draft pitch books, information memoranda, and other deal-related documents, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a strong background in sell-side transactions.
- Previous experience at a boutique firm is essential, offering exposure to high-impact, entrepreneurial environments.
- Sector expertise: Experience within the energy and climate tech sectors is critical, with the ability to understand the unique dynamics and trends shaping these industries.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a proven ability to handle complex financial data and provide clear insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in an international, cross-border transaction setting.
