Principal Process Engineer Singapore Permanent

Location:            Singapore

Start Date:            ASAP

Contract:            Permanent

Salary:            13,000 15,000 SGD / month

The Company

My client is a multinational EPC company that operates within multiple sectors.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provides technical support, if needed to employees during design and project execution.
  • Establishes and updates individual competency profile for each team member.
  • Develops and implements mentoring of appropriate staff and develops high performance employees.
  • Actively manages performance (goals, action plans and key performance factors).
  • Trains, mentors, and develops high performance employees.
  • Establishes succession management planning.
  • Allocation of manpower to respective business needs like tender and project execution.
  • Ensures that the company standards are implemented and used throughout the region.
  • Informs and updates on latest technical developments in the industry.
  • Perform frequent department meetings and provides a status update on development of projects and business development.
  • Co-ordination/interfacing with other HOD to align on technical; personal; corporate and organizational matters.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in chemical and Process Engineering
  • 12 - 15 years professional related experience with 5 years in leadership capacity
  • At least five years of international experience in a high-tech industry or other multiple discipline orientated construction business
  • At least five years of experience in a leading position of a fast-track project
  • At least five years of experience of managing staff, coaching/mentoring and developing people.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering Design and Construction for Process (High Purity) Systems.
