Senior Data Engineer is required for a growing international agricultural company. Leveraging AI and Machine Learning their product seeks to provide a tech for good service for agricultural suppliers.

You will be responsible for designing and building the data architecture of the company as well as supporting a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Building and automating data pipelines and data infrastructure
• Maintaining and enhancing performance of data pipelines, ensuring scalability and integrity
• Building tools and services for other members of the Data team
• Deploying and scaling AI models, ensuring effective performance
• Maintaining high data quality

Requirements

• BS/MS in a Computer Science related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in Software/Data Engineering (preferably Python)
• Extensive experience with AWS (GCP experience acceptable)
• Experience with SQL databases and data lakes
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark
• Experience with containerization technologies is a plus
• AI/Machine Learning experience is a plus
• German language skills / EU Visa is beneficial
