Due to an exciting new partnership between Leap29 and a major Norwegian EPCI company, we are seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with over 5 years Norwegian experience in the Oil and Gas industry. As a Senior E&I Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all electrical and instrumentation engineering activities for various oil and gas projects from concept through execution. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and safety regulations.

If that is you, here is the essential information:



  • Lead and manage electrical and instrumentation engineering aspects of EPCI projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and detailed engineering design for electrical and instrumentation systems, considering project requirements, specifications, and client expectations.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and calculations, to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Identify potential risks and technical challenges during project development and provide effective mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct periodic site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, address technical issues, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and expectations.
  • Participate in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety policies and promoting a culture of safety within the team.



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the oil and gas industry
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), knowledge of Norwegian is a plus.
