Process Engineering Manager – Australia – Permanent
Location: Rosehill, NSW
Salary: Basic Salary + Super + 25% Bonus
Start Date: ASAP
Role: Lead the process engineering team and lead development of new ideas and design engineering

Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead the Process engineering team in concept principles through to design and engineering
• Lead the review of the existing process engineering practises to understand where, when and how we can improve.
• Ensure process designs meet required safety standards and actively participate in HAZOP studies and design reviews
• Deliver best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget and technical requirements
• Develop innovative solutions to complex process and technical problems
• Prepare process deliverables such as process design criteria, process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process control philosophies, operating cost estimates and study reports
• Assist with business development activities and the preparation of proposal documentation
• Input to the CAD team to ensure all elements of the design process are incorporated
• Review all CAD team outputs to ensure safety, quality and operation standards are met.
Candidate Requirements
• Degree Qualified in a Engineering field (Chemical Engineering an advantage)
• Strong understanding of the innovation process development strongly desired
• Ability to review and correct drafting and modelling work completed by others
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and exchange necessary information with ease
• Advanced skills with the standard features of the MS Office Suite, including SharePoint
• Ability to mathematically model process scenarios and engage others through the process
• Model process maps to show situational scenarios.
• Generate P&ID’s and PFD’s and coach the process engineering team on how to do the same.
• Enthusiastic, high level of energy, goal driven and tenacious
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Must have 10 + years process engineering experience in a design and execute environment
• Experience with process supply partners advantageous
• Relevant process plant operational experience
• Experience in CAD design relevant to Process engineering advantageous
• Experience with project management / organisational leadership beneficial
• Experience in working in a fast paced, multi-faceted technology environment
