A Senior Data Engineer is required for my client who work in the BI Industry. It is an exciting opportunity to work with a good client. They require someone who has experience with technologies such as Databricks, Spark Structured Streaming and PySpark and experience with cloud architectures (Azure,AWS).

As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining my client’s data infrastructure and pipelines using Azure and Databricks. Your expertise in data engineering and proficiency with Azure and Databricks will enable you to develop robust and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs for our client.

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience in Data engineering
• Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Spark Structured Streaming and PySpark;
• Experience with Cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.)
• You must have experience analysing source data and designing data models.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• You will design, build, and maintain bespoke data pipelines and platforms that will help their projects progress and grow.
• You will be Deploying BI solutions into cloud environments and integrating them with other components.
• You will be maintaining, tuning and adapting applications to keep them performing to specifications.
• You will explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
• You will be responsible for implementing cloud-based technologies.
