Leap29 are currently assisting a leading Renewable energy company who are hiring for a Senior Development Manager to be based from Lyon, France. My client is a global developer of utility-scale solar PV projects.

Main responsibilities:

• Implement the development strategy for the country
• Originate new opportunities
• Work alongside the rest of the team in France, including the Country Manager
• Identification and evaluation of projects
• Be responsible for coordinating the signing of land for projects by managing various teams
• Coordinate the permitting process for projects and have strong knowledge of the French development process.
• Ensure the preparation of projects
• Actively manage a projects progress, budgets and report to the Country Manager
• Develop and maintain relationships with key players in the sector
• Work as part of a development team and cooperate with the team to meet the strategic goals for the company.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project development of solar PV, or other renewable energy projects
• Have great interpersonal skills
• Can successfully manage stakeholders on a project including landowners, grid companies, local authorities and communities.
• Interested in working on new opportunities in an innovative and dynamic environment.
• Ideally graduated Bac + 4/5 (Engineering, Business, DESS, Master),
• English language
