Data Engineer
A Data Engineer is required for my client who work within a government department. It is an exciting opportunity to work with a massive client on a 3 month rolling contract for a max of 2 years. You are required to be SC Cleared & have experience in both Azure & Databricks.
As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines using Azure and Databricks. You will collaborate closely with our data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure efficient and reliable data processing, storage, and retrieval. Your expertise in data engineering and proficiency with Azure and Databricks will enable you to develop robust and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience as a Data Engineer As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines using Azure and Databricks.
- Experience & knowledge using both Azure & Databricks
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You must be SC Cleared.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration workflows using Azure and Databricks.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL and ELT methodologies.
- You will be Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues and incidents to minimize downtime andensure data integrity.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the data engineering field, especially related toAzure and Databricks.
